Welcome to My Website

Hello everyone. I am Ali Zargari Ouroozaki. I was born on 1 January 1976, in Iran. I am a super Gay with no sense of masculinity. First, I studied BFA in Television Production at Iran Broadcasting University. I worked as a Creative and Technical Director for Iran Broadcasting between 2003 to 2009. Then, I left my back home as a refugee to UNHCR. It was hard to leave my country of origin because of being a Gay/Queer. I hope one day, LGBTQ2 rights will be accepted and legalized in Iran. In 2012, I became honored by living in Canada.

In Canada, I pursued my creativity and scholarly life, as Canada generously supported me to continue my education. During my studies at the University of New Brunswick and NSCAD University, whenever there was a chance to access a suitable computer, I created some digital images. It is my pleasure to share my digital artwork and research interests with you. My creations are inspired by various themes, including free imagination, identity, culture, and history. I explore different digital techniques, but my interest in 3D arts is so great. Besides my visual creations, I'm passionate about research and intellectual engagement. I have conducted my research in various fields, including visual arts and cultures, art education, digital media, film, television, theatre, and intermediality between them. As an art educator, I believe that creativity and critical thinking are the essence of development. Please feel free to explore my website and contact me if you have any questions or comments.

     All the best.
